AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has reportedly given a stern warning to his close friend and party MP C.M. Ramesh for the delay in works being carried out by his company.
CM Ramesh’s Rithwik Projects, which has bagged govt. contracts worth Rs 3,000 crores, is being accused of delay in completion works related to Gandikota Reservoir and also not meeting standards. Taking a serious note of the issue, Naidu has reportedly stressed that no one would be spared if resorts to lethargy in completing project works.
In the recently held party coordination committee meeting, Naidu warned the contractors of seizing the machinery with the help of police, if they don’t mend their ways. He particularly got furious with the absence of Ramesh in the Conference despite the latter knew that the progress in project works would be discussed.
With the next Assembly elections fast approaching, Naidu has reportedly taken the issue of projects works’ completion, including that of Polavaram very seriously, and is reluctant to spare even his party leaders in case of abnormal delays.
