Telugu Desam senior leader Uma Madhava Reddy has made a sensational statement that TDP was no more in Telangana as it was extincted with the mass exodus of leaders to other parties. Her comments had not only brought embarrassment to the entire TDP cadre but also the demand to take disciplinary action against her came to the fore in the party.
Party leaders said her comments deeply hurt many leaders following migration of the TDP leaders in a big number to TRS and Congress in the recent times.
Uma said she is yet to take a decision whether to join Congress or TRS in viewing the next elections in 2019. Leaders said Uma has got offers from ruling and also opposition parties. She may jump into Congress as the TDP leader was close to A Revanth Reddy who recently switched loyalties to Congress. A clear picture on her political career will emerge in two months.
