Hero Surya is trying to score a bit hit in Tollywood from a time, but somehow his films are not finding the right foot. His latest attempt is “Gang” which happens to be Telugu version of “Thaanaa Serndha Koottam” directed by Nayantara’s boyfriend Vignesh Shivan.
The film deals with the story of a guy who has all the fitness and guts to become a police officer but actually picks up something else. He looks like a CBI officer and that’s the reason we get a feel of watching “Special 26” movie. But with Vignesh Sivan claiming that he’s the writer of the film, we have to wait and see if this is really a remake or just free make.
Apart from Vignesh’s taking style and Anirudh’s thumping background what is catching attention in this teaser is the new voice given to Surya’s character. Unlike using the popular voice of dubbing artist Srinivasa Murthy, this time Surya has come up with a new voice and surprisingly that is his own voice. Yes, the Tamil star hero dubbed himself in Telugu.
While Keerthi Suresh will be seen as heroine in this film, Ramya Krishna is playing a crucial character that banks on slapstick comedy.
