Is a film’s success proportional to the number of fans that hero has? We may not make any assessment like that because the success of a film depends on various other factors too. However, if a film gets huge popularity on social media, then definitely its the handy work of fans with social marketing talent.
Other day when Facebook revealed the most discussed topics in 2017 on their ‘wall’, the name Baahubali 2 standing at the top hasn’t surprised any. At the same time, things like Jallikattu, Miss World Manushi Chillar are also not surprising things on the list. But the only thing that surprised many is #JaiLavaKusa figuring on the Top 10 list.
One may wonder why Jai Lava Kusa turned up in the list and can say umpteen reasons for that. Despite having strong fanbases and huge support on social media, big stars like Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan failed to get their films like Spyder and Katamarayudu surface on the toppers list. But with NTR’s film entering that club, maybe we could say that Young Tiger’s fans are outshining those followers of Mahesh and Pawan.
As the trending list has come up from none other than Facebook, there is no question of doubting its authenticity.
