KCR Insults Chandrababu Again?

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has been ‘insulted’ once again. Naidu was not invited for the ongoing World Telugu Conference (Prapancha Telugu Mahasabha) which was being held in Hyderabad from December 15. Many are expressing shock and dismay over Naidu not being invited for the Telugu Conference. There is no denying that Naidu is a Chief Minister of another Telugu state Andhra Pradesh. It would be reasonable and sensible to invite him for the conference.

At first, Naidu was not invited for the inauguration of Hyderabad Metro Rail held on Nov 28 which was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. Since Naidu was the one of the few initiators of Metro in Hyderabad, keeping him away from the launch was also widely criticized.

Despite his enmity with the people of AP, KCR was invited by Chandrababu for the Amaravati Foundation Stone ceremony in AP which is a good gesture from him. Whereas CBN was avoided by KCR for both the events fearing that he could steal the show and bag some credit.

On the other hand, Chandrababu is being ‘ignored’ and ‘insulted’ by Narendra Modi-led BJP as well. BJP’s order to stop the tenders of Polavaram Irrigation Project has come as a major setback for Babu. Naidu’s recent statement that he had never faced so many difficulties (regarding Polavaram Project) in his entire political career says what Babu is going through.

Looks like, it is high time, Chandrababu should raise the issue of self-respect against Centre and even give a befitting counter to others who insult him.
