In a shocking incident that occurred in a government school in Karnataka, the headmaster and two teachers of the school reportedly served alcohol to 20 students, who had asked for water. This incident took place during a school-authorized excursion.
While on their way back from the excursion, the headmaster and two teachers, who were sent as the guardians of the students, reportedly gave them water with alcohol mixed in it, when the students had got thirsty and requested for water. While some students threw up, the others felt giddy after consuming the drink.
Reportedly, both the teachers and the headmaster have been suspended with immediate effect and an inquiry has been started in the matter.
