Much before Venkata Ramana Reddy became a star producer named Dil Raju, she is a happening and star heroine. Much before Venu Sriram joined as an assistant director for Arya movie, she’s a leading lady in Tollywood. But still, she knows what it means to give respect.
We are talking about former heroine Bhumika (original name Rachana Chawla) who rose to the top with her 2001 super hit film “Kushi”, the third film of her career. By the time Raju made Dil in 2003, she’s already a hit heroine. Still, she addressed the producer as ‘Raju sir’ at ‘super sixes’ function of Dil Raju that took place other day.
What’s more surprising is that she addressed even director Venu Sriram as ‘Venu Sir’ and that explains one thing. No matter whether someone is a star heroine or not, they should give a great deal of respect to the pillars of a film, including producer and director.
These are the days where we have heroines who score a blockbuster with just one film and then showcase their tantrums and weight all the way around. Definitely, Bhumika’s down to earth nature and the way she respects others is a lesson for them to learn.
