Not long after the release of ‘Nene Raju Nene Manthri’, director Teja materialized his next film with senior hero Venkatesh. The project was officially launched about two months ago. However, the commencement of regular shoot kept delaying and the major reason we hear is ‘heroine’.
Teja is breaking mountains to find a suitable heroine to play Venkatesh’s leading lady. The names of Kajal, Aditi Rao Hydari, Nithya Menen, Nivetha Thomas etc. were considered but none of them agreed to do the film. It is heard that no heroine is accepting the role as it is of a mother of two children. Actresses are naturally wary of playing such ‘middle aged’ characters so the process of finding a heroine is delaying the film’s shoot.
On one side, both established, and upcoming yet popular actresses are said to be rejecting the role, and on the other hand, some lesser popular and faded actresses are ready to do the role but makers don’t want them. They seem to be determined to rope in a popular actress however delay may happen.
In this process, NTR Biopic is also getting delayed as Teja is the director of that film as well.
