We already know the news that anchor Anasuya snatched the phone from a kid and thrashed it against the ground for clicking her picture on the road. While responding to this incident, it looks like the anchor has shown much more head-weight in her own Jabardasth style.
Reacting on the news, Anasuya tweeted, “Not that the country needs such news.. but.. to those whom I am answerable.. #facts I am sorry her phone broke but i think its not fair that i should be blamed for what i remotedly didn’t.. we owe our privacy (sic)”.
Well, but without breaking the phone into pieces, Anasuya should have complained to the police about the invasion of privacy, isn’t it? That’s what law abiding citizens do.
Meanwhile, the lady whose son’s phone was thrashed by Anasuya accused that when her son tried to click her, the anchor snatched the phone and scolded them with bad words before thrashing the phone. Also, the mother and son lodged a complaint on Anasuya.
And when a netizen tagged Anasuya on twitter about this news and suspecting that she might be drunk then, has asked “Hyderabad Police” to take action on her. Responding to the same, Hyderabad Police twitter handle replied, “Good Afternoon Sir, Kindly share us full details”.
An irritated Anasuya replied, “Good to know the Police is so prompt! But sir you should get into the details before I am being tagged #Respect”.
This looked like an indirect satire on police for their promptness and also giving advice to them as to when they should tag her on twitter. Isn’t this satire a bit too much?
