Ever since Pawan has instituted Janasena Political Party, there are various talks about the books he reads and the type of ‘isms’ he believes in. And today when he met Loksatta leader Jayaprakash Narayana, display of a thread around his neck stunned many, over his left shoulder and below right arm to be more precise. Dressed in his usual kurtas, Pawan met JP today to discuss the possibility of a JAC that could work for bringing special status to Andhra Pradesh. During that time, he’s seen sporting a Jandhyam around his neck, the sacred threat usually worn by Brahmins and Vysa community people. One wonders why Pawan is wearing it.
Of course, Pawan is flashing this Jandhyam for a long time and it became huge discussion when he met a fan of his way back in 2014 and then in 2015. But then it was thought that the Jandhyam he’s wearing is about a ‘vratam’ he is doing, but it looks like the Janasena leader is carrying it continuously. It seems like he is doing all the rituals like Sandhya Vandam and reading Vedas every day, which otherwise he won’t be needed to sport a Jandhyam all the time.
On one hand, Pawan stuns us with his knowledge of philosophy and thought-provoking ideologies like a rationalist. On the other side, he looks like a pure follower of Hinduism and the system of God. At one point, is he contradicting himself?
