These are the days where many film families are encouraging their kin and kith to do something in the industry itself. While most of the sons and daughters of celebrities including heroes, heroines, directors, composers and others are becoming only actors, some are venturing into other departments too.
Former superstar Krishna’s daughter Manjula was expected to become a heroine couple of decades back but she became a director now. Calling the shots for the first time, she carved out Manasuku Nachindi with Sandeep Kishan, Amyra Dastur and Tridha Choudhary in the leads. The film’s audio function took place yesterday and Manjula looks quite cheerful as the film has come out well.
What surprised many is the absence of Superstar Mahesh and his dad Krishna at the audio function. It just happened like a simple event where the lead cast and crew will meet the press. Though both are in Hyderabad itself, one wonders why they haven’t attended the event.
Inside sources revealed that Manjula doesn’t want to build an unnecessary hype over the film by bringing two superstars. She’s the one who believes that the film should do well in theatres on the merit of its content rather promotions. We have to see how Manasuku Nachindi works from coming Feb 16th.
