Pawan’s Deadline Ends, No Response from Govt.

Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan’s deadline to the State and Central govt. seeking them to release a White Paper comprising the complete details of funds furnished and how they were spent, came to an end today. And, there was no response from the govt.

A couple of days ago, after meeting senior politician Undavalli, speaking to media, Pawan Kalyan demanded the release of a White Paper. ‘The JFC (Joint Fact Finding Committee), comprising Economists, Financial experts, ex-Public servants, Academicians, scholars, Socio-Political Leaders etc. will objectively analyse the white paper and based on that report, he would take a decision on his future political action,’ Pawan said. He also set the Feb 15 deadline.

With the deadline ending today and no response coming from the govt., there is huge curiosity over what Pawan will do next.

Reports suggest that an intellectual team presided by JP has already collected comprehensive information regarding funds, and that Pawan, JP and Undavalli are going to hold a crucial meeting with the JFC tomorrow. Will Pawan aim his gun at only the Centre or State govt. as well? Or will he continue limiting himself to statements only?

The other day, in the party meeting, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu reportedly said that JFC should focus on the Centre and not the State govt.

Meanwhile, concerning the fulfillment of promises made to AP, YSRCP plans to hold a dharna in New Delhi on March 5. TDP on the other hand decided to wait until the end of Budget Session, and Naidu has already indicated that the Centre will have to face severe consequences in April if AP doesn’t get what it deserves.

As both TDP and YCP have announced their plan of action, Jana Sena’s decision is awaited.
