If it Nani’s film, surely people will rush to theatres to catch the film on first day first show. But for a film that is produced by Nani and without featuring him inside in any role, will the film get much needed attention and openings?
“Awe!” is the film produced by Nani and the trailer of it sounded something different for sure. At the same time, the plot looks pretty usual with many people converging at a single point (a coffee shop). We have seen many such films where lives are entwined and overlapped at one place. But the getups and attires of stars like Regina, Eesha, Srinivas Avasrala and Ajay Sharma have awed everyone, while Kajal and Nitya Menon are the main crowd pullers.
Despite having such sparkling star cast, somehow the film is not getting desired attention. While the cast has promoted the film through a couple of interviews on television, somehow the way Nani is ‘hiding’ the concept of the movie is said to be slowing down its impact. Believing on a fresh director Prasanth Varma, Nani invested quite a good amount on the film, but he should have taken Kajal, Nitya and Regina to various cities and colleges to promote the film big time.
Also he himself should have done a crucial role like the way Aamir Khan does it in his production ventures. Isn’t it? At the same time, some sort of promotional songs and good music would have helped the film get more attention than what it is now. Maybe for that reason, Nani has induced himself into the film through a voice-over as he speaks for a fish. Let’s see what happens tomorrow!!
