BJP MLC Somu Veerraju is at it again. Breathing fire on Chandrababu Naidu and ally TDP, Somu Veerraju in his latest salvo shot direct question to Chandrababu on what his government has done to the backward regions in Andhra Pradesh state.
Claiming that the Centre has given an exemption of 30 per cent in the Excise Duty, Income Tax for the state in last September (Sep 2017), Somu Veerraju has questioned that what companies did TDP bring to the state since then?
Somu Veerraju has also raised the issue of Special Category Status and said that Special Category is nothing but financial package. Stating that Chandrababu Naidu has sought for Rs 16,000 Crore from the Centre as financial assistance to the State for the backward regions, Somu Veerraju asked AP government that what blue print it has to develop the backward districts such as Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Rayalaseema and where the AP government is planning to spend the amount and how it is planning to spend the funds from the Centre. He even questioned about the Centre’s Rs 1600 Crore funds for Amaravati and asked for the accounts of the Rs 1600 Crore.
Levelling direct allegations against Naidu and his government for not ‘highlighting’ Centre’s Sops to the state, Veerraju further said that AP government is trying to unpopular Modi in AP.
In his no-holds-barred political attack, Somu Veerraju went onto defame state government. This is not all. Somu Veerraju asked AP government that what more Centre needs to do for AP.
Somu Veerraju didn’t even spare the TDP’s poll promises in 2014. He has asked TDP that how many promises it has kept in the promises it made during the 2014 general polls.
