An Aseman Airlines planed which was carrying 60 people and 6 crew members crashed in Semirom town of central Iran, according to local media report. The plane was heading from Tehran to Yasuj when it was crashed into mountainous area of Semirom. The Iran officials have declared the death of everyone who are on plane.
A rescue helicopter which was sent to the deadly plane crash site has turn back due to un-supportive whether conditions. An officer of Iranian Emergency Organization said ‘as the plane crashed in mountain region, it’s because a daunting task for emergency ambulances to reach there.’
There are very few details at the moment but according to the eye-witnesses, the aircraft grounded and crashed while crew was making an emergency-landing of the flight. This plane reportedly took off at 7:55 am (local time) from the Mehrabad airport and disappeared rapidly from the radar after some time.
The Aviation authority officials are likely to conduct an investigation of this tragic crash shortly.
