The super success of “Nene Raju Nene Mantri” has put director Teja back in the spotlight. He’s busy making interesting proposals for some days and then finalised two movies. One is an iconic biopic of legendary NTR while another one is a family drama with senior hero Venkatesh.
From a time, there are reports that various heroines are under consideration for this film with Venkatesh but none are signing it actually. Because the heroine is supposed to play the role of a mother of two kids and many are not willing to do so. After we heard names of Kajal Agarwal and Nayantara, finally Aditi Rao Hydari agreed to do the role but she opted out later due to dates clash with Maniratnam’s movie.
Finally, hot lady Shriya Saran once again agreed to become Venky’s wife and mother of kids like she did it in Gopala Gopala. An interesting point to be noted is that this is the 72nd film of both Venkatesh and Shriya. Yes, it’s truly #VenkyShriya72.
While Venky doing 72 films is no wonder, but Shriya acting in that many films including her item numbers and cameo presences is really a thing that deserves a pat. Looks like Shriya will score a century with ease. That’s the beauty!!
