Ever since the news of Akhil’s third project is out, there are various rumours engulfing it. And the biggest of them is the one that speaks about his payment demand. Is there the truth about this remuneration talk? Let’s see.
After trying to find a right script that could give him a big hit, Akhil came up with “Hello” recently and the film impressed partially. And the latest talk is that the Akkineni youngster will be teaming up with Venky Atluri of Tholiprema fame for his next, which will be produced by BVSN Prasad. A rumour is doing rounds that Akhil is demanding 10 crores in the likes of a Nani and Raviteja.
First of all, let’s start with the figures posted by Akhil’s last film. While the theatrical rights are valued to be at 32 crores, the film collected 19 crores share from the box office. With just 60% recovery rate, the film ended up as a flop show though it got appreciation from critics. In that case, how come Akhil will be demanding 10 crores? The likes of Nani are getting close to 35 crores share easily and the demand of a perfect-ten sounds tangible.
This could be both, either this is just a rumour created by film industry people or Akhil is not thinking in realistic terms.
