Veteran writer KV Vijayendra Prasad usually offers story for his son and star director SS Rajamouli’s film. His recent works include Baahubali series and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Story.
Guess what, for the first time, an outsider is providing story for Rajamouli’s next big venture #RRR with Ram Charan and Jr NTR in lead roles.
Gunnam Gangaraju, a close relative and family friend of Rajamouli who once assisted the family by giving them chance under his production house called Just Yellow Media is giving story for the much awaited project.
It is reliably learnt that, Gunnam Gangarju penned the story long ago when he was making popular comic TV show ‘Amrutham’. In fact, he narrated the story to Vijayendra Prasad and Rajamouli back then.
Now, Vijayendra Prasad in association with other writing talent in his family is fine-tuning the story. 1980 Olympics is the backdrop set for the film where NTR plays a boxer and Charan will be seen as a horse-rider, as exclusively revealed earlier by GA.
In fact, Rajamouli usually makes films with outdated stories or regular commercial concepts. But, with his distinguished story-telling, Jakkanna gives an impression to audience of watching a unique film.
