All hurdles have been cleared for the joining of Senior politician and YSR’s close aide Sabbam Hari, the former Anakapalli MP into Telugu Desam Party. AP CM and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu said to have given his nod to the joining of Sabbam Hari into the party.
Sabbam Hari, who had slammed Jagan in 2014 and avoided contesting polls, is all set to join TDP very soon. Back in 2014, Sabbam was the centre of the attraction. After hitting out at Jagan, Sabbam had subsequently joined Kiran Kumar Reddy’s Jai Samayikya Andhra Party and planned to contest as Visakhapatnam MP candidate. But amidst dramatic circumstances, he withdrew from the elections fray. Instead, Sabbam had extended his support to the NDA candidate Kambhampati Hari Babu to keep YSR Congress away from Visakhapatnam.
The seasoned politician is apparently expecting an MLA ticket from TDP for Vishakapatnam North constituency or Anakapalli MP ticket. Earlier in 2014, TDP had sacrificed the Vizag North constituency to BJP as part of the coalition. So, it wouldn’t be much problem for TDP to offer the Vizag North seat to Sabbam. Yet, it is too early as Naidu is yet to take a call and yet to promise Sabbam on the seat.
Meanwhile, Sabbam Hari is all praise for Chandrababu Naidu and is taking on Opposition YSRCP. He is accusing Narendra Modi-led BJP of trying to “crush” TDP with the help of YCP and other parties. Sabbam has called the people to fight against the Centre. This clearly indicates that Sabbam is “very positive” towards TDP and is likely to join the TDP very soon. Definitely, the joining of Sabbam will be big boost to TDP.
