Quitting Telugu Desam Party’s senior leader and former MLA Yalamanchili Ravi has surprisingly didn’t make any direct allegations against Chandrababu Naidu. Instead Ravi rued that he is quitting the party and joining YSRCP only for his better fortunes. He alleged that he was “ignored” by TDP and he was not given “due preference” even after TDP coming back to power.
Ravi told media that he has met Chandrababu Naidu and the leader has asked him to wait for 3 more months. Ravi said that he couldn’t wait further and quitting TDP. Meanwhile, Jagan said to have committed a ticket to Ravi and even promised him a plum post in the government if YSRCP comes to power in 2019.
Surprisingly, Ravi addressed Chandrababu as “Chandrababu garu” throughout his interaction with media. This is what surprising many.
While leaders quitting YSRCP have been criticizing Jagan, TDP leaders (such as Revanth, Yalamanchili Ravi) have been quitting TDP respecting Chandrababu.
