In what could be seen as politicians coming forward to promote films, it looks like every one of them is taking turns to appreciate movies. After Telangana IT Minister KTR showered praises on Bharat Anu Nenu, many others joined the gang.
Already TDP MP Jayadev Galla and Loksatta Jayaprakash Narayana have also appreciated Bharat Anu Nenu. JP told in a tweet that, “Saw the film (BAN) just now. Koratala Siva has combined mass entertainment with two powerful messages to make people think: rule of law and local govts. Power should be localised to allow people to make democracy work”. Definitely, this means a lot.
And then, we have AP Minister, Nara Lokesh coming up with his appreciation. But the didn’t take to BAN, and surprisingly spoke about Rangasthalam. “Thumbs up to Ram Charan, Sukumar & team for giving us a wonderful film like #Rangasthalam to watch. The characters stay with us after the movie was long over! Great work guys!!”, he tweeted.
Well, this is good for the film industry as appreciations from politicians act as more powerful promotional tools.
