YS Jagan’s Navaratnas or nine promises are becoming laughing stock. One such funny incident took place on Monday during the Vanchana Deeksha held in Vizag, to counter TDP’s Dharma Porata Deeksha held at Tirupati. YSRCP MP and senior leader Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy has forgot how much pension party president Jagan Mohan Reddy had promised to offer to physically challenged persons under his Navaratnalu.
Mekapati was spotted on camera asking the fellow colleagues on the amount of pension offered by Jagan under Navaratnas. He was seen asking his fellow leaders whether the pension announced was Rs 2000 or Rs 3000, This has been made fun by netizens.
Satires poured in saying YSRCP MPs, leaders have already forgotten Jagan’s Navaratna promises much before 2019 elections, let alone fulfilling the promises after coming to power. “Promises will be remembered only if they really want to fulfill them. Else what is the point to even remember them?”
Jagan has announced a spree of populist promises, schemes during his Padayatra and party plenary to lure voters in 2019 elections. But it looks like, majority of YSRCP leaders haven’t taken Jagan’s promises seriously.
