The horrific rape of a 9-year-old girl in Dachepalli, Guntur, has been a hot topic of discussion across the Telugu states. Police have released the suspect Subbayya’s photo and a search operation is currently on to trace him.
Meanwhile, Subbayya’s family members called him on his mobile and rebuked him for his heinous act. A humiliated Subbayya reportedly told them “I am going to die” and then switched off his mobile.
Upon Subbayya’s family members’ complaint, the police traced his last cell phone signal location to a nearby village named Thangeda. Police are suspecting that Subbayya might have committed suicide by jumping into the Krishna river that flows nearby. Boat teams are searching for Subbayya along the river.
