After Pawan Kalyan if there is any star hero who can guarantee a minimum hit at the box office just by his charisma it is Mahesh Babu. At the same time, even the formula of cinema business has changed these days with maximum theatre release becoming the key.
So, it is natural that when a Mahesh Babu film is on the ramp then the makers will try to book maximum theatres. But the way the makers of ‘1-Nenokkadine’ are functioning it looks like Mahesh will do a total Kabzaa of Andhra Pradesh theatres.
According to sources, it is heard that the 14 Reels Entertainment banner which is producing the film has already booked thousand theatres. Though there is still time for the film to release as it is scheduled for January 10th, 2014 it is heard that the makers don’t want to take a chance.
If this news is true then there is no chance that other films can look at a possible release around Sankranthi time. This would also mean that films like ‘Race Gurram’ ‘Rey’ and others which were targeting the festival time have to move aside.
