Are we accustomed to listening to the massy tunes and loud background music? or the composers are really falling flat when it comes to catching our pulse? This became a debatable point now.
Almost all the big ticket films in Telugu industry are scored either by Devi Sri Prasad or Thaman these days. But sometimes, to bring that versatility, new-sound, magic and change, our star heroes pick some interesting composers from other languages. Like the way we have Anirudh turning up for Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathvaasi and Vishal-Sekhar putting their best foot forward for Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya.
Somehow, songs of these new composers created a huge impact during the audio release. The likes of “Bayatakochi Chooste” and “Lover Also Fighter Also” became instant hits and climbed the charts of chartbusters to the pinnacle. What’s then? When those respective films came, the final mixing of these songs inside theatres isn’t as interesting as it could be. Despite having strong visuals, these songs failed to create any impact on silver screen.
In a way, Tollywood is now thinking that the talented composers from other tinsel towns are giving hand to Telugu stars when it comes to delivering hits. Even AR Rahman’s direct Telugu ventures flopped big time. Maybe, they are not able to get the beauty of the language and read the hearts of Telugu people. What say, folks?
