In what can be called as a rare incident in South Korea, a wealthy woman decided to toss her south korean currency worth 15.8 million (approximately INR 9 lakh) on the roads of Daegu city. In a viral video, she was seen throwing her cash from moving car in 11 different areas. The people in city reported incident to police and gave back the money to police because it was crime to collect money found on roads.
Though the wealthy woman remained mum about this charity, her mother offered an explanation. She spoke on her daughter’s interest to give money to needy people. The Korean police authorities, who found woman’s mother based on the number plate of the car, declared that they would give back money to them if they claim it.
