AP speaker speaks about United state in Telangana

Andhra Pradesh assembly speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao on Sunday inaugurated the bronze statue of senior TDP leader & a former cabinet minister in United Andhra Pradesh, late Koneru Nageshwara Rao at Penugadapa village in Kothagudem division, Bhadradri district.

Speaking at the inauguration event, the AP speaker remembered the contribution of Koneru to the party and state. He said, “United Andhra Pradesh enjoyed No 1 status in all categories whereas bifurcated Telugu states are being ignored by BJP-led central government.” He demanded centre to implement all the promises made to both Telugu states.

Kodela, who got a grand welcome by TDP supporters, also recollected his memories with Koneru Nageshwara Rao, who got elected to Kothagudem constituency for three times. Other TDP leaders who took part at the event includes current President of Telangana Telugu Desam Ramana, TDP pilot bureau member Nama Nageshwara Rao and Sattupalli MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, apart from Koneru’s son and party’s district president Satyanarayana.
