Senior actress Bhumika Chawla is in early 40’s. The actress who has a four-year-old son has returned to Tollywood after a gap and is now signing films regularly.She scored a hit with “MCA” in which she played as sister-in-law to Natural Star Nani.
However, Bhumika says that moviemakers should not restrict actresses like her to sister or sister-in-law roles.She is demanding the writers and directors to come up with roles that require her to do some glamour show as well. This should not be territory of 20-plus heroines alone.
She says that actresses like Malaika are inspiration to her, as Malaika at 45 is carrying glamour quotient so well.I can pull off lead roles too even now, Bhumika confidently says. She is looking to play roles what Vidya Balan is doing right now in Bollywood.
