Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram’s 2013 industry hit ‘Atharintiki Dharedhi’ is currently being remade in Tamil. Simbu is the main lead and C Sundar is the director of this movie, which is bankrolled by one of the top Tamil production houses, Lyca Productions.
Already, Megha Akash, who was seen in Nithiin’s LIE and Chal Mohan Ranga, has been chosen to play the remake’s main heroine, which was originally essayed by Samantha. And then, there has been a huge speculation on the actress who will be playing the Maradalu role, portrayed by Pranitha Subhash in the Telugu version.
Now, Kollywood circles have been buzzing with the news that Bangalore hottie Catherine Tresa has been signed on for the role. Catherine had earlier set the screens on fire with her sizzling show as an MLA in Sarrainodu and a hot and arrogant media tycoon in Rana’s Nene Raju Nene Mantri. We will have to see if her role will be modified with extra screentime in the Tamil version.
