After having terrific run for the first five days, Superstar Rajinikanth’s “2.0” has slowed down. The collections have seen a drop yesterday.
Telangana is gripped with the election fever and people are glued to turn of the events that are fast happening.
No wonder then that the footfalls to the movie theaters in Twin cities have dwindled considerably.
However, trade is expecting a big jump this weekend. Post-polling day, people would be flocking to the screens, the exhibitors are confidently saying.
The good sign is that collections for 3D version are still strong even during the weekdays. The film’s performance on the coming weekend will decide its overall fate.
“2.0” is directed by Shankar and the Telugu version is distributed by N V Prasad in Telugu states in association with Dil Raju and UV Creations.
