2018 has given mixed feelings for film industry and audiences as well. Few films went onto become big blockbusters and many of them tanked without a trace.
However, 2018 can be regarded as a great year for Telugu cinema which is in the transformation phase.
Now let’s take a look at the movies to watch out for in 2019. There are some very interesting projects in the making.
Movie hungama will get a kick start ahead of Sankranthi with three biggies taking on each other.
NTR biopic is releasing in two parts and the first part will arrive on Jan 9. Starring Balakrishna and directed by Krish, it is one of the most anticipated films of the year.
It will be followed by Ram Charan, Boyapati Srinu’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama, a mass entertainer riding on high expectations. F2 starring Venkatesh and Varun Tej directed by Anil Ravipudi looks promising in its own respect.
Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi will release in April. The film directed by Vamsi Paidipalli is the twenty fifth film in the Superstar’s career.
Prabhas’s Saaho will be hitting the screens in August. The high budget actioner is directed by Sujeeth. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa is expected to hit the screens for Dussera. Touted to be one of the costliest movies in Telugu cinema history,
Sye Raa is directed by Surender Reddy. Trivikram-Allu Arjun’s film also is likely to hit the screens in Aug or Sep.
Other notable releases of the year are Nani’s Jersey, Naga Chaitanya’s Majili, Akhil’s Mr. Majnu, Vijay Deverakonda’s Dear Comrade, Sai Dharam Tej’s Chitralahari and many more interesting low budget films will hit the marquee in 2019.
