People who love history can’t forget the Battle of Saragarhi that took place in 1897 where 21 bravest Sikh soldiers fought 10,000 Afghan tribesmen to defend the checkpoint that leads to another nearby fort. While these soldiers belong to the British Regiment, the bravery they have shown highlights how Indian soldiers stood against everything in terms of war.
Featuring Akshay in the role of Havildar Ishar Singh, the film directed by Anurag Singh of ‘Jatt and Juliet’ fame, has stunned the audiences today. Especially the scale of the visual effects brought things pretty close to reality thereby thrilling the audiences. Akshay delivered a top-notch knock, with his fierce fighting skills.
The film has Parineeti Chopra as the leading lady, while it is set for March 21, 2019 release.
