Mahesh wanted Anil Sunkara and Anil Ravipudi movie with Dil Raju as the presenter to release for Sankranthi and hence, the ripple effect broke his tie with Sukumar for his next.
Well, the reason for Mahesh to adamantly try and set this project up is the high remuneration that Anil Sunkara offered him, it seems.
Anil Sunkara is big fan of Krishna and Nagarjuna. He owed to make films with both the stars and when he launched operations, he contacted Mahesh and Nag, with big offers.
Mahesh agreed and they made Dookudu, Nenokkadine and Aagadu. That 14 Reels broke up and Mahesh got a new offer from Anil Sunkara to revive the producer, it seems.
He asked Mahesh to accept a movie under his banner and he will give him a 50% of the budget as remuneration, it seems.
Hence, this movie became crucial for all parties and for Anil Ravipudi, the brief is simple it seems. If he can present Mahesh in rough avatar like Srinu Vaitla or Puri Jagannath, he will get the movie to go on to floors by May end.
Anil is almost ready with the character sketch and he is working overtime to impress Dil Raju and Mahesh, it seems. He has till mid-April to finish all pre-production works, it seems. Sankranthi release is said to be the target of GMB, 14 reels plus and Dil Raju as presenter.
