Tollywood actress and singer, Shruti Haasan, rose to prominence after doing successful films like Gabbar Singh, Race Gurram, Srimanthudu, Premam and many more. She also proved the world her immense talent in fields like playback singing and songwriting. She has also earned her own identity now in South film industry apart from being called as legendary actor Kamal Haasan’s daughter.
In one of her recent interactions with a popular newspaper, Shruti opened up about many things happening in her life. She claimed that she is doing an English musical album in the UK and she had to dedicate a whole one year to get the intended results. This is the reason why she chose to stay away from films for one year, she said.
She also spoke on doing a Telugu film soon. She confirmed that she has been narrated with a few good scripts last week and will soon finalize one. When asked about her father, Kamal Haasan’s, entry into active politics, Shruti said that she is very happy to see his father doing good for the society and in fact, she herself learned many things about political scenarios happening in the country.
She further said that, though she had less interest in politics before, after her father’s entry, she got interested in understanding people’s problems. “People like my father are absolutely necessary for today’s political world. He has a great vision towards the subject and his movies are also a good example to show how much he is passionate about eradicating corrupt society. I hope people think and vote to a deserving leader this time,” she said.
