A few days ago, Nitya Menon was involved in a controversy when she refused to meet a bunch of producers who came to hold talks with her. The producers claim that Nithya is showing apathy, overconfidence, and attitude. They threatened to ban her completely from the Malayalam film industry.
This whole unpleasant situation took place during the shooting of Thatsamayam Oru Penkutty directed by Rajeev Kumar. Without informing her before, a group of producers had tried to meet her and Nithya refused to meet. This went on personal levels and rumours has spread on her in a negative manner.
Nithya also spoke on it in one of her interviews. She said that in the midst of all this headache, she got to know that her mother was suffering from third stage cancer. She revealed that she had to hide her emotions and cry in her caravan in between shoots. In addition, the actress was suffering from chronic migraine which made her detach from all the issues.
She gave a befitting reply to those producers saying that ‘I don’t care such rumours. Let them call me egoistic. I only prefer to focus on my work’. On the work front, Nithya is busy with Jayalalithaa’s biopic and Malayalam movies Kolambim Anandamargam, Psycho and Mission Mangal in the pipeline.
