Model Malaika Arora is all over news ever since her affair with Bollywood hero Arjun Kapoor came into the limelight. Apart from this, Malaika also makes it to headlines for fitness goals and fashion avatars. Now she stunned everyone by making a bold statement.
We all know Malaika is pretty famous for her item songs but she has a problem with the terminology ‘ITEM.’ In her words, “I have always had a problem with being called ‘item song’. Imagine someone calling me, ‘what an item,’ I will slap that person,” said Malaika in an interview with celebrity journalist. But Malaika did not say what word will best suit to replace ‘ITEM.’
Speaking so bravely, however Malaika did not find any fault in having those songs in films nor doing them. “Our films have been about this i.e, songs and dance and so there is nothing wrong in doing them and I would never call for a ban on those type of songs,” added she.
Malaika last sizzled in the movie ‘Pataakha’ which was directed by Vishal Bharadwaj.
