He has made sensational comments on both the states that how they’re fighting against each other even after splitting. Modi blamed Congress for the manner in which AP was bifurcated. He has said the people of both states are not able to see each other’s faces although both speak the same language – Telugu. Modi said even after 5 years after the bifurcation, he alleged that there is no bond between the Telugu states.
This is not all. Modi went onto allege that those who want to split the nation has bifurcated AP. Modi said Congress has totally failed in handling the bifurcation of AP. Modi recalled how Atal Bihari Vajpayee had handled the carving out of three states. Modi reminsced that Jharkhand was carved out from Bihar, Uttarakhand was carved out from Uttar Pradesh and Chattisgarh was carved out from Madhya Pradesh in an amicable, friendly way. He said the people of the existing state and the new states have been maintaining friendly relation.
The fresh comments of Modi on both AP and Telangana have become hot topic in the political circles. While BJP had backed the bifurcation of AP back in 2014, Modi’s fresh comments are expected to trigger sharp political reactions from TRS and Congress in Telangana.
