Revanth Reddy Denies Rumours Of Party Switch

Having elected as Malkajgiri Parliament member, Congress leader Revanth Reddy had sent signals to the ruling TRS that he could still play a major role in leading an anti-KCR front. On Tuesday, Mr Reddy was felicitated by CPI leaders at their party office in Hyderabad. It’s known that CPI declared its open support to Revanth Reddy in Lok Sabha polls.

Speaking at this event, Revanth Reddy said: “I am blessed to win from Malkajgiri Parliament constituency which is considered to be a mini India. People of Telangana taught a good lesson to KCR who tried to ridicule Democracy with his actions.” Also, the former Telugu Desam leader said that he lived up the expectations of the party and President Rahul Gandhi, with his victory.

Iterating that he will pitch for Rahul Gandhi’s leadership, the star leader of Congress denied the speculation that he’s leaving party. He said that there’s no truth in those rumours. By defeating M Rajasekhar Reddy, TRS candidate, in Lok Sabha polls, Revanth Reddy is back in the headlines after staying away from media since he lost assembly polls in December.
