Recently Mahesh Babu and his producer thought of celebrating the 50th day run of ‘Maharshi’ at the box office. Despite the fact that there are so many films released after this Vamsi Paidipally directorial none stood ground at the box office, paving way for Maharshi to reap huge profits.
Unfortunately, due to the sudden demise of Vijayanirmala, 50th-day celebrations of Maharshi were called off. Many thought that this event would be another trick of the sleeve to promote the film to the maximum such that it would collect more before it finally says goodbye to the box office. For the first time in his career, Mahesh promoted this film big time after the release, for all the 50 days run.
And now, the film got released on most loved entertainment stream, Amazon Prime. With the film available on this digital streaming site, those who want to watch it again or those who haven’t watched yet are likely to catch it on their mobiles and laptops. That surely weakens the chances of Maharshi at the box office.
In the wake of this happening, we have to see if Maharshi team will celebrate the 50 days or will they call off the event.
