Shame Jagan in Parliament: Naidu to party MPs!

TDP president and former AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu has asked his party MPs to shame YSRCP president and AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the Parliament by frequently raising CBI, ED cases filed against Jagan, stage protest on why CBI, ED are going slow on investigating Jagan cases, raise the issue of why Jagan was given ‘secret exemption’ from attending CBI fast track court in Hyderabad every Friday etc.

TDP currently has three Lok Sabha members and two Rajya Sabha members in the Parliament.

Though there were 6 Rajya Sabha members for TDP till recently, four of them joined BJP last month.

Naidu asked his five-party MPs to utilise the Parliament session whenever held to shame Jagan by raises cases booked against him.

Naidu also asked his party MPs to take up the issue of how Jagan destroyed “Brand Amaravathi” that he had built over the past five years with his hasty decisions and witch-hunting politics by demolishing Praja Vedika, stopping all construction works in Amaravathi, cancellation of international fights from Vijayawada and forcing investors and industrialists to reserve 75 per cent of jobs to locals due to which investors are running away from Amaravathi and shifting their base to Hyderabad.

Naidu wants all national and regional parties in the country to know what exactly is happening in Andhra Pradesh after the power was handed over to an ill-experienced and arrogant CM like Jagan and how the situation of Andhra Pradesh has turned from bad to worse within two months of Jagan taking over as CM.

Naidu also wants party MPs to raise the issue of reviewing all the PPAs (power purchasing agreements) despite union power minister and secretary writing to Jagan not to do so as it would affect the power and investment climate in AP.

Following Naidu’s directions, party MPs have geared up to raise all these issues in Parliament in the ongoing budget session.

It remains to be seen how the 22-member strong YSRCP team in Lok Sabha and 2 members in Rajya Sabha would counter Naidu’s strategy in Parliament.
