Nag Compares But Begs Media Not To Do It!

Manmadhudu 2′ failed to receive either Positive Reviews or Good Word-of-Mouth releasing on this Friday. The kind of comments made by Tollywood King during Today’s press meet has only shocked the Film Journalists and Public.

Nagarjuna recalled ‘Geethanjali’ was one of the best films of his career but it wasn’t accepted by people immediately after the release. He also remembers Ceded Distributors beginning the film from ‘Jagada Jagada’ Song by shifting the first few scenes to somewhere in the middle. Nag disclosed even Annayayya received house fulls only from 11th Day. A conversation between him and Director Vijay Bhaskar post ‘Manmadhudu’ release over poor revenues in the first few days was also mentioned. To sum up, He claimed to have reinvented himself with such experiments and tried to make the youth connect with him.

The 59-Year-Old told ‘Manmadhudu 2’ was one such attempt by him. Though he himself indulged in comparison, Nag begged Media not to assume it as drawing comparison between his new flick and old classics. In the end, He expressed happiness over the revenues generated by the Rahul Ravindran-directorial on Day 1 and Day 2.

Didn’t Nagarjuna miss logic here? We are no more in the era where collections used to pick up slowly and extend the theatrical run to 100 days or 175 days. This is the period where Word Of Mouth & Openings matter the most for Box Office success. Can Manmadhudu 2 end the flop streak of King?
