Mahesh Babu’s social service needs no introduction. Over the years, he has been part of various socially conscious initiatives and had even adopted a village each in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Now, in what can be called as a truly remarkable feat, Mahesh has reportedly sponsored pediatric heart surgeries for 1,000 children who are born with or diagnosed with heart diseases at an early age.
Mahesh had joined hands with Andhra Hospitals to carry out this ambitious mission for the last 3 and a half years. Mahesh’s wife Namrata was primarily looking after the mission. Needless to say, Mahesh and Namrata have become one of the reasons for the smiles of the children and their families.
There is an emotional story behind Mahesh and Namrata’s touching gesture. Their son Gautham was born amidst several complications and the star couple is forever indebted to the doctors who took care of their son. It was then that Mahesh had decided to lend a helping hand to the ailing children and their families.
