Madhavan’s 14-year-old Son, Vedaant, made his father and the country proud by clinching a silver medal in the 4x100m freestyle relay for ‘Group II’ boys at the Asian Age Group Swimming Championship. The group that won silver medal had Utkarsh Patil, Sahil Laskar and Shoan Ganguly, besides Vedaant. The team together wins a silver medal in the category.
The competition was topped by Thailand winning the gold medal and Japan settled with a bronze in the third spot. The incredible news has been proudly shared by father Madhavan on his Instagram and captioned, “India gets her silver medal at the Asian Games. God’s grace… Vedaant’s first official medal representing Indiaâ€. He congratulated all the swimmers through a montage picture.
Many people, including B-town actors and netizens left congratulatory comments and best wishes on Maddy’s post. This is not the first time Madhavan rejoiced his son’s victory at the sports. Earlier, when Vedaant was 13 years, the actor shared that his son won bronze for India at an international swim meet in Thailand. Hope the boy grows to grab many accomplishments in the future.
Currently, Madhavan is busy working for his next project, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, based on the life of former Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientist Nambi Narayanan.
