Star producer Dil Raju’s films always carry good pre-release buzz. He always makes sure that his films get good promotions by releasing updates frequently. But he seems to have changed his path for the remake of Tamil super hit romantic film ’96’.
Raju decided to remain silent over this film. The shooting started long back and reports claim that it is almost completed. But there is no news regarding this film officially. Except for a snap shared by Samantha on her Instagram, no other poster was released. The film starring Sharwanand and Samantha is expected to release in December and there is zero buzz over it.
Sources say that Raju is waiting for a perfect release date for the film. As there is huge competition in December and January, he is reportedly planning to bring the film in February or during summer. That is the main reason why he decided not to kick start the promotions yet as said by the trade analysts.
’96’ is a feel-good story of two people who loved each other during their school days but never got a chance to express their feelings. Settled in their lives, they meet in a class reunion after nearly 20 years and how they deal with their complex feelings is the story.
