Warangal district collector, dynamic lady IAS officer Amrapali Kata is known for her ways of governance and also the way she turns up as a millennial when it comes to her looks rather conservative bureaucrats. Can you imagine, this dynamic lady is behind Ravibabu’s Aaviri movie?
Apparently Vizag girl Amrapali used to stay in vintage semi-palace like residence in Warangal in the status of a collector. While talking about her own bungalow, she commented that there is a rumour that ghosts live in the first floor of the house that was built by a Nizam era foreign officer. And this became news last year as every media house aired a story citing ‘Amrapali intlo deyyam’.
Basing on the same news article, director Ravi Babu is said to have created a story and that’s how ‘Aaviri’ happened. Whether the director is invoking collector Amrapali’s name for the sake of publicity, or he did really wrote a story basing on a bureaucrat revealing about the ghost is not known, but this caught the ears of cinema lovers.
Set for November 1st release, Aaviri is being released by Dil Raju unlike Suresh Babu who always backs Ravibabu’s films.
