After taking a long break post Sye Raa, tomorrow some films are trying to prove their mettle at the box office. Of them, we have Ravibabu’s Aaviri and Vijay Devarakonda’s maiden production venture Meeku Maatrama Cheptha creating some noise in the film industry. What is the talk outside though?
In B & C centres like Eluru and other happening Coastal towns, we hear that a different trend actually picked up for tomorrow (November 1st). In those centres, posters of films like Aaviri, Edu Chepala Katha, Srimathi 21 F and a couple of other adult content oriented films are literally pasted all over the place. These types of films don’t need publicity, but only posters are enough to grab audiences to theatres.
Surely these films will get more openings than Devarakonda’s film in some areas, and the key to outshine all the competitors in the race is to get good reviews and positive word of mouth. If MMC scores a point in those areas, then the film will show an advantage over the horror and adult content in B & C centres. Else, the film will face a threat from adult and horror content, while it will have its advantage in multiplexes.
