Some films don’t work at the box office but still, the actors in that movie get huge attention. Same thing happened to Lavanya Tripathi, Rahul Ravindran and Naveen Chandra when their film ‘Andala Rakshasi’ released. Many thought she would become the next big thing in Tollywood.
Though there are a couple of hit movies like ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoyi’ and ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ in this Dehradun girl’s kitty, somehow the string of flops she is part of, have affected her career. It has come to a position where she’s sitting idle without any work from the past year.
Finally her delayed movie ‘Arjun Suravaram’ has released and despite average ratings, the film went on to collect well, for a Nikhil’s movie. Claiming this is a big victory, Lavanya is busy marketing it with her PR team as they say she’s back into the reckoning. Is that so?
No doubt, Lavanya hasn’t entered the elite list of star heroines in Tollywood but might get a couple of chances like how she got Sundeep Kishan’s film already. But to enter the big league, surely she has to score a blockbuster and also iron out the issues that led to previous work-less situation to revive her dwindling career.
