The first day of winter sessions of Andhra Pradesh assembly rocked on multiple topics. TDP demanded for a debate on soaring onion prices however, Speaker Tammineni Sitharam did not allow it and continued with the usual agenda.
Speaking on the crime against women and also about the recent rape and murder incidents in Telangana and other parts of country, YSRCP MLA Vidadala Rajini lashed out at TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu. “The opposition leader claims that he is 40 years industry but it is unfortunate that his MLAs are obstructing me while talking about crime against women in the country. Chandrababu would have known the value of a woman, if he had a daughter,(Chandrababu Ki Kuthuru Vunte Thelisedi)” said the Chilakaluripeta MLA.
Also adding Rajini said under TDP’s regime many incidents happened in Andhra Pradesh and raked up the topic of attack on MRO Vanajakshi, women beaten up at Vizag and call-money scam.
While the YSRCP MLA was talking, TDP MLAs were continuously interrupting her. Speaker Tammineni had to pacify them yet the TDP MLAs did not calm down.
