If reports are anything to go by, actress Rakul Preet has cut down her remuneration. Other than Shankar’s multi-lingual Indian 2, a Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Tamil film and a Hindi film, Rakul doesn’t have much offers in Telugu. Owing to stiff competition from peers like Raashi Khanna, Rashmika Mandanna and other heroines, Rakul’s career in Telugu has slowed down.With lack of offers in Telugu, the talented beauty said to have cut down her fee by a whopping 25 percent.
Rakul has recently shifted her base to Mumbai. She is eyeing to do more Hindi films. But she doesn’t want to completely leave Telugu cinema which has made her a star. So, she is said to be interested to take up interesting Telugu films. She is even willing to cut her fee if she likes the script and the role.
Let’s hope Rakul will be back with a bang. Hope the talented actress would overcome this lean phase very soon.
