Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut shot to headlines with her latest comments on Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). At the trailer launch of her upcoming movie ‘Panga’ media asked Kangana’s opinion on CAA. An open minded Kangana found fault at the protesters.
‘In this country only 3-4 percent people pay taxes and the rest of the country is dependent on that. So people who are agitating should not indulge in violence. Burning buses and destroying public properties will yield nothing and the protesters have no right to do so,’ said Kangana.
These comments did not go down well with Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodia. He criticized the Bollywood actress and added that all the people of this country pay taxes and cited that even if a person buys a match box, the price comes inclusive of tax. ‘People pay taxes when they go to watch a film and are responsible for the income of actors,’ added Manish Sisodia.
Like always Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandal intervened in this and urged him not to mistake her comments. ‘Kangana is clearly talking about income tax here, please don’t twist her statements,’ said Rangoli.
